Prophecies and Insights

Newsletter – September 2026

Welcome,

Spring is arriving in all its splendour here in Perth, Western Australia. It uplifts my soul to see the blossoming of new life – the trees and flowers budding and the birds and bees so happily active. It is a lovely part of the cycle of life. Although there are weather disasters happening in other parts of the world – especially sadly Nepal at this moment – wherever we are, if possible, we need to focus with gratitude on the magic of life.

Recently I was reminded of the wonderful and powerful book “The Celestine Prophecy” by James Redfield. I had been “blown away” by it when I read it – newly published – in 1994. I have now found my “yellowed” old copy in the bookcase in readiness to re-read.

James Redfield has just posted on Facebook reminders of all his messages in the book and how relevant they are now. He said:

“Many people have told me over the years they don’t simply read “The Celestine Prophecy” – they experience it. They finish the book feeling inspired and alive to the spiritual nature of life. Synchronicities seem easier to notice. Intuition feels clearer – and there are stronger insights“.

Reading this marvellous book at that time (it was a wow, wow, wow!) was a life changer for me. Within two years about five million copies were sold. A lot of other people were equally enthralled.

It was a time of great awakening, searching and finding new understanding of the greater reality of existence and spiritual wisdom.

I, and many others, identified with what was written (in parable form). It all made sense for us who were looking to find our purpose and reason for being. Of course, the questions continue.

Have you read it? There is a second book “The Tenth Insight” (and workbooks). The original book explains nine insights in story form. I highly recommend them. They are most relevant in assisting us to live our lives in peaceful co-existence.

It is time for me to revisit these truly enlightening books.

Have a joyful September.

Much love,

Merriene
